With the furniture gone we get behind the fridge, inside every cabinet and into the corner of every closet. This is the standard list; tell us if your lease or listing agent asks for anything extra.

Scheduling & access
We work around your closing and lease dates
Move-outs come with a hard deadline, so we plan the cleaning around it rather than the other way round. Tell us the date the home needs to be ready and we set the visit for the day before, or the morning of, so it is inspected clean.
Tell us the deadline. Lease end, closing day or the listing photo date. Let us know as well if the home will already be empty. Movers out first, cleaners second, always.
Keys and access. You do not need to be on site. A lockbox code, a key left with the landlord or agent, or a garage code all work. We confirm access the day before and lock up when we leave.
Utilities on. We need water and power to clean. If the utilities are being shut off, ask for the switch to happen after our visit.
Walk-through for larger homes. For bigger houses in Guilderland, Wilton or on the lake we do a short walk-through first so the quote and the time on site are accurate. Apartments are usually quoted from a few questions by phone or email.

Does the home need to be completely empty?
Empty is best. It lets us clean inside the closets, inside the cabinets and behind the appliances. If a few items have to stay, tell us when you book and we work around them.
Can you clean right after the movers leave?
Yes, when it is on the schedule. We book the cleaning for after the movers are done, usually the afternoon or the next morning. Book as early as you can once you know your dates.
What if my closing or lease date moves?
Just tell us. Rescheduling with at least 24 hours' notice is free. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice incur a 30% fee.
