Three levels of clean
Three levels: regular, deep and full deep
A Latham apartment cleaned every two weeks needs something different from a Clifton Park house that hasn't had a proper clean in a year. Here is how we tell the three apart.
Regular cleaning
The maintenance clean. Keeps a home that is already in good shape looking that way. It is what our weekly, bi-weekly and monthly plans are built on.
- Dust surfaces, vacuum and mop floors
- Kitchen counters, sink, stovetop, outside of appliances
- Bathrooms: toilet, sink, tub and shower, mirrors
- Trash out, beds tidied
Deep cleaning
Everything in a regular clean, plus the build-up a maintenance clean never gets to. This is the right first visit before starting a recurring plan, and the right reset for a home that has fallen behind.
- Baseboards, door frames, switch plates and trim wiped by hand
- Soap scum, mildew and hard-water build-up scrubbed off tubs, showers and tile
- Grout lines, faucets and fixtures detailed and shined
- Kitchen grease on cabinet fronts, backsplash and range hood
- Inside the oven, fridge and microwave on request
- Vents, ceiling fans, light fixtures and window sills dusted
Full deep cleaning
Top to bottom, every room, the most detailed clean we offer. Nothing is skipped and nothing is "on request". If it is in the home, it gets cleaned.
- Everything in a deep clean, in every room
- Inside all appliances, cabinets and drawers
- Walls spot-cleaned, doors and closets wiped
- Behind and under furniture that can be moved safely

When to book
The moments a deep clean makes the most sense
Four situations where a deep clean is the right call.
Before starting a recurring plan
A deep clean on the first visit gets the home to a baseline, so every weekly or bi-weekly visit after it is faster and stays consistent. It is the way we start most recurring plans.
Spring, or after a long Upstate winter
Closed windows, salt tracked in from the driveway and months of dry heat leave a film on everything. One spring deep clean clears it out of the whole house.
Before guests or a big event
Family coming for the holidays, a graduation party in Delmar, a summer weekend at the lake house in Queensbury. Book a deep clean a day or two before and the house is ready.
After illness, a move or a renovation
When someone in the house has been sick, or when a project has left dust in every room, a full deep clean resets the space. For an empty home see our move-in / move-out cleaning.
Real results
Same tub, one deep clean
This fiberglass tub and surround had years of soap scum and mildew. It came back white with the right products, a scrub brush and time. No replacement, no refinishing.
- Soap scum, hard water and mildew come off tubs, tile and glass.
- Grout and caulk lines get scrubbed, not just wiped.
- Fixtures and drains are descaled and polished.
- Satisfaction guarantee, backed by our service contract. If something gets damaged, we cover it.

Pricing
Deep cleaning is priced per home, and the quote is free
The price depends on the size of the home, how many bathrooms it has, the level you choose and how much build-up we find. Send the form or call, and we reply by phone or email with a clear number. For larger homes we do a short walk-through first, so there are no surprises on the day. Supplies and travel are included. If you plan to continue with a recurring plan afterwards, those start at $160 for apartments and $195 for houses.
Good to know
Deep cleaning questions from Albany-area homes
Short answers to what people ask before they book.
How long does a deep clean take?
It depends on the size of the home and the level you pick. We give you a time estimate with the quote.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Many clients give us a key, a lockbox code or a garage code and go about their day. If you would rather be home, that is fine too. We work around you.
What if I need to cancel or move the date?
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice incur a 30% fee. Rescheduling with notice is free.
Are pets okay while you deep clean?
Yes. We prefer pets in a crate or a closed room while we work, but friendly pets are fine. We work it out with each client. Pet-friendly supplies are available if you ask during the walk-through.
